അനില്‍ സി. മേനോന്‍ ഒരുക്കിയ ലണ്ടന്‍ ബ്രിഡ്ജ് പ്രണയത്തിന്റെ പാലമാണെങ്കിലും കേറിക്കഴിഞ്ഞാല്‍ എടുത്തു വെള്ളത്തില്‍ ചാടാന്‍ തോന്നുമെന്നാണ് അനുഭവം.

On the whole, London Bridge will make you fall in love with it!

There is nothing exciting or new about the narration. It looks drab in the second half and missing romantic factor makes it still dull.

London Bridge from Anil C Menon is a romantic flick. It has been a great journey for Prithviraj, as an actor, with some carefully selected, bravely acted intense roles last year.

Unimpressive! Mediocre script that mars the whole show...Nothing worth remembering...

Luxury and some scenery of London and its outskirts is rich in almost all frames of London Bridge. But the very necessary thing in a romantic drama is missing here; romance. 

London Bridge may impress you if you go with minimum expectations.

London Bridge has nothing new in it that the old bridge has changed its shape......! Funny it might seem, but the reality about the movie and its narration remains to be even funnier.

The plot suffers from a definite lack of freshness, the characters forced to prod along the timeless, much-trodden path of late realization, bundle of remorse, baggage of generosity and the eventual convergence of events on an optimistic note.

Anyhow, this 'London Bridge' fails at bridging the emotional demands of the audiences and in all probabilities may end up as a loser at the Box Office. Though a big budgeter, the movie may follow the fate of many recent films that tried to capture the finesse of exotic locales and life styles but failed to strike a chord with the viewers.

'London Bridge' was in the making for a long time. And coming as it does during a purple patch of its lead star Prithviraj,portents were pretty good for this bridge to connect with the audience. But a shaky foundation and shabbily laid surface ensure that the journey through this bridge wont be an entirely smooth experience.

Anil C Menon's 'London Bridge' suffers from a repetitiveness that arises out of a triangular love tale that has nothing new on offer. With the three love poles all set, the film sets off on a highly recognizable journey down love lane, with slumber and tedium in tow.

പക്ഷെ ക്ലീഷേയില്‍ പണിതുയര്‍ത്ത ഈ ബിഗ് ബജറ്റ് ബ്രിഡ്ജ്‌നോട് സാമാന്യബുദ്ധിയുള്ള ഏതൊരു പ്രേക്ഷകന്റെയും മനോഭാവം വിയറ്റ്‌നാം കോളനിയിലെ ഇന്നസെന്റിന്റെയായിരിക്കും ‘ ഇതല്ല ഇതിനപ്പുറം ചാടിക്കടന്നവനാണീ ……. ‘ !!!

മെലോഡ്രാമയ്ക്കപ്പുറം ചവിട്ടുഡ്രാമയുണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ അതുകൂടി കാണിച്ചിട്ടേ അവസാനിപ്പിക്കൂ എന്ന് സംവിധായകന്‍ ശാഠ്യംപിടിച്ചാല്‍ നാമും നിര്‍മ്മാതാവും മറ്റെന്തുചെയ്യാന്‍. ഏതായാലും ലണ്ടന്‍ തിയേറ്ററില്‍ കാണണമെങ്കില്‍ ഈ മണ്ടന്‍ ബ്രിജ്ജ് കാണാം. അല്ലാത്തവര്‍ ഇതുമായി സ്വയം ബ്രിജ്ജു ചെയ്യരുത്.

സത്യന്‍ അന്തിക്കാട് സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത മണ്ടന്‍മാര്‍ ലണ്ടനില്‍ എന്ന സിനിമയുടെ പേര് എറ്റവും നന്നായി യോജിക്കുന്നത് ലണ്ടന്‍ ബ്രിഡ്ജ് എന്ന സിനിമയ്ക്കാണ്. പ്രതിസന്ധിയില്‍ നട്ടംതിരിയും കാലത്ത് കൊച്ചിയിലും തിരുവല്ലയിലുമായി പറയാമായിരുന്ന ഒരു പച്ചപ്പൈങ്കിളിപ്പഴങ്കഥ പറയാനായി ലണ്ടനിലേക്ക് വണ്ടികയറിയ നിര്‍മ്മാതാവിനും സംവിധായകനും സ്തുതി.

London Bridge is an usual romance between a poor guy who has come up the hard way and a rich princess who falls for him, but ultimately the guy settles for the poor damsel in distress, writes Paresh C Palicha. 

Those behind London Bridge has perhaps not realized that gone are the days when some stray visuals of a foreign country could satisfy the Malayali audience. As we wait for this amateurish misadventure to end, the feeling is that of someone who has jumped from a bridge and realized midway that there is no water beneath.
